Motorcycles

Bikes, bikes and more bikes…It’s entirely the fault of my parents, this motorcycling lark. So with a clear conscience I hold no responsibility for having owned 18 motorcycles since the age of 5. They started it by buying me a 50cc Italjet motocross bike.
It had no gears, just a twist-and-go, but I loved it. My Dad made a trailer for our purple Austin Allegro (stop sniggering you at the back) and I rode it around various heath land areas around where we lived north of Norwich.

After a while that was replaced with an 80cc Italjet motocross bike, but this time with gears, and then onto a Suzuki RM80 at age 9 – a serious piece of Motocross kit! One year, my friend Benny and I did a trials display on our bikes at the Horsford Village Fete, with jumps and and big see-saw.
