Linking To The Competition - Am I Mad?

Our lingerie store, Good Time Products Lingerie, is one of many UK sites on the Internet which sell the Shirley of Hollywood range of Lingerie.  With good reason, they are high quality products and very popular.

We are the cheapest, by quite a margin.

Yet despite this, I go out of my way to ensure we offer the best service possible. Perhaps “cheapest” is the wrong word - least expensive.

Anyway, I have a list of every other web site selling the same Shirley of Hollywood lingerie and it occured to me that I could leverage our price position by linking to all of my competition.

“Go check out the competition, here’s a list of sites which sell all the same products as we do, but at vastly inflated prices. Then come back and order from us and receive the best service too.”

Am I mad? Is this retail suicide? Let me know your thoughts…
